OK. I'm in this is a bit more that one year old, and I have to leave that full monty to somebody else (so this does not fulfill Dimitri's wish and so we have to get somebody else to post the requested shot).
Anyhow, I love this shot. It has some sort of surreal feeling (why the heck the chair is on the table? Why there are books on the chair? Why I'm looking so freaking stupid?) This shot is most probably take by my cousin with Flexaret III (http://home.kabelfoon.nl/%7Eenduin/cameracatalogus/htm/meopta_flexaret_III.htm), the camera I started my journey to photography as well.

Interesting photo Olli, and like you say, the chair on the table and books on the chair are strange. I do like the overall effect though.
What is the next photo to be then?
PS I fixed the link in your post (a bracket had became part of the link and resulted in a 404 error).

For some reason, I can't get the 'manage attachments' box to open for me today...... This is me when I was 2 years old. A Christmas my parents didn't think I'd make. A year earlier I was rushed to the hospital with double pnemonia and spent six weeks in there. I no longer suck my thumb.... :)

Are they not obligated to give a reason? Is it against POTN rules to share other websites with friends? Is the Gestapo listening to this recording? Will I be banned there for what I say/do here? Inquiring minds want to know...

Geesh - who's banned now?
Myself and John are banned Athena.
Me because of the PMs and John....i have no idea why,i think they suspect that he was involved in this.
I had a PM from one of our members here,Soiled Dove who apparently is...BELMONDO , one of the mods at POTN.
He subscribed here and sent me a PM telling me that i`ve been banned there for.....breach of rules.:lol::lol:
I asked him why he banned John but he never replied on that.
Then i asked him if he will ban all the members that have joinned here and of cours he totally avoided to reply to that too.
I did mention however that if he does that, then our chat might go public.
I think the panic is on.
Its a very interesting discussion the one we had.http://bestsmileys.com/lol/4.gif

There are a lot of photography forums on the internet. Many of us (myself included) visit or even help out with other ones. I don't understand why POTN would have an issue with that. It's rather concerning to be to be honest. Concerning and just plain sad.
Anyway, I'm happy to be here with you guys. http://lifeprintsphotography.com/graphics/smiles/BigGrinTeeth.gif Now if I could just figure out how to attend the next fabled meet, all would be loverly. ;)

Athena , i never tried to persuade anyone to abandon POTN.
I only invited people to join here aswell , especially if they want to have some more freedom of speech , thats all.
I know that as i`m writting these lines Belmondo is viewing here,so i hope he is getting the message.

Just an update to let people know. My ban was revoked after things were straightened out, and I've also been chatting with Tom (Soiled Dove, Belmondo) and he stated that no POTN members would be banned from joining here. Indeed, once this forum gets established and develops its own unique identity, there is a lot to be said for POTN and Inspiring Photography complementing each others features. :)

I had to Google POTN. Came right up, so I can make some sense out of the last few posts. I shoot Nikon, so no wonder I never heard of POTN.
Now, to get this thread back on subject. I ran across some old B&W photos a few months ago. I have no recollection of what kind of camera was used, and I have no scanner, so I propped them up, and shot them with a macro lens. Quality is very poor, but then again it’s to be expected in this case.
