Suggested equipment: Camera or sketch pad ;) Normal fell walking foot ware and water proofs.
Best time of year/day: Any time or early morning for no people.
Any restrictions: Up a steep pass so reliant on weather.

Further info: A must visit site looking at Blea Tarn with the Langdales in the Back ground, Very easy to get to with a car, but on a narrow steep pass. The NT pay & Display car park is not more then 200 yards from the tarn.
Best way is to follow the B5343 from Skelwith Bridge to Great Langdale, and follow till you think you can go no further and then you will take the steep pass up to Blea tarn.
NB: No snow unless winter even then you have to be lucky
