Found this small church hidden in our area, it was built in 1605, and was renovated around 1860 after it fell into disrepair.
All that is left of the original building is the tower.

Comments would be more than welcome.

I like creeping around old churches/castles with the camera, Im lucky enuf to live near a few very old structures.
lost the sky detail there, I'm getting a little strange in my not so old age, I start looking at the sky a lot before deciding to shoot old buildings because the lack of a sky kills 1/3 of the image.
Keep at it hey. :)

You exposed the oldest part of the building well tho.

Looking at the photo, and now you have mentioned it, i should have waited until there were at least some clouds in the sky to make it more interesting.

Still it is said that you learn from your own mistakes, so the next church i take a photo of, i will try and make the sky more dramatic.
There are plenty of very old churches where i live some going back to the twelfth century.

Thanks JCR for the advice.

Not so much mistakes Paul, more a learning curve. :)
