Sorry, another shot from Elie :)

I've given this scene a slight crop, subtle sharpen and a slight tweak to the colour cast in the sky/water to give it a subtle pinkish tone (as the sky was very flat and grey straight out of the camera)

I would be interested to hear your critique on

a) the composition and framing of this image
b) the processing that I have done

I've got a few ideas for a rework, e.g. firstly I feel that the large rock face, foreground rocks, and tower face could do with being adjusted so that they appear brighter, secondly there are a few small distractions that could possibly be removed etc. etc.

Thanks

DK

I don`t know how much crop you`ve done but the current framing looks good, the rocks on the fg are on the right place as they don`t interfere with the reflection of the tower which in turn is nicely positioned on the right upper corner of the picture.
I think that whats missing here is a stronger light (more powerful sun) on the rocks and a better sky to make this one work very well, i don`t think that there is much more to do in PP to make such huge difference to the image from what i`ve done myself, just more light on the rocks and a better sky needed here.

Thank you for the feedback Dimitri, will revisit this one this week hopefully :)

I take it you've applied a warm up filter here?

Have to agree with Dimitri on the light.

If you look at the large rock middle left and a few of the smaller rocks in the middle band, they have a nice light cast over them. However, the structure doesn't seem to have it, it's as though the sun hadn't quite reached it. Just need to get that bit of light cast over it.

No David, i worked in Lightroom and i changed the white balance to something warmer.
