Default Mercedes Benz W124 (1994 coupe) - 8 pics

A friend of mine asked me to take a couple of pics of his car, a Mercedes W124, coupe model from 1994.
We did the "photo session" a couple of days ago, in the parking lot at the office, unfortunately not the best of places. I had to apply some extreme (by my standards) post-processing, trying not to let the busy background disturb the attention. I have to admit I'm not sure about the quality of the end results, so I'd like to hear your opinions on them:

Many thanks in advance for any C&C you might have!

PS-got about 30 pics total, in craw+jpeg, and the owner is not really expecting works of art; I'm sure he'll be happy with the in-camera jpegs, but, still...

PS2-I know that some of them might be too dark, they look much better (IMHO) against a dark background

I really like the PP on these, the heavy vignettes work well imho. I'm sure he'll love em!

3 and 4 for me are the best of these but our friend should let you take this out into the country on a fine evening to do this full justice.

I think the desaturation has worked very well in bringing the car out from the scenery.

Well... #3 and #6 are now his wallpapers (we use laptops + external LCDs at work), so I guess he was pretty happy with these pics
Thanks everyone for the comments!

Oh and, Bill, we might just follow your advice one of these weekends
