Default Ess-na-Crub Waterfall Details

Following on from my post yesterday, here's a couple of closer in shots of the two halves of Ess-na-Crub Waterfall.

Cheers,

Simon.

I like the 1st one Simon but here is my 2p worth.
Personally, I would cut out the sky/top and crop in such way that the green foliage rhs, would be on the third. You may give it a try if you wish.
Now the foliage is just a nice point in the picture, when on a third, it will balance the image much nicer.

Thanks Dimitri.

The green foilage is on the third line vertically, but not horizontally. I will certainly give your crop a try. I did consider cropping like that at the time, but I was worried about cutting off the top of the waterfall.

I personally do not like to see the top of a water fall cropped unless the subject interest is so strong that I do not notice. You are brave to photograph waterfalls in the bright daylight and have done a decent job of of it too. KC
