Default 3D Balloon Ride - Anaglyph

...Or, more accurately a ride in the shape of a balloon. This is at Legoland, Windsor, in which riders sit in gondolas beneath the ornate balloons.

Taken with a Nikon Coolpix 5600 compact, handheld cha-cha, processed in SPM.

View with red/cyan anaglyph spectacles.

Lovely shot Balliolman.
One thing that confuses me is that the front two ballons look nice and round in 3_D (ie have depth) but the rear elements are spaced but look almost flat in appearance a bit like a stage set - any explanation to this ?

Contrary to what seems to make spheres ideal for 3d - their roundness - they often appear flat in stereo appearing merely as circles. It is possible the stereobase was not wide enough. That does not apply here as there is depth further than the distant balloons as shown by the sky. Thanks for commenting, Brian!

I like this one for the fact that the central tower can appear to move given a slight tilt of the head. This seems to enhance the 3D effect.
